Fiimu OÜ · Tallinn
We make films that matter.
Our Story
Fiimu was founded with one conviction: the smallest stories can travel the farthest. Based in Tallinn, we operate at the intersection of Northern European sensibility and global cinematic ambition.
We are at the beginning — making short films, putting them into the world, and building toward larger work one project at a time. Founded in 2019, we have produced 12 films across documentary and narrative fiction, winning 3 international awards along the way.

Safe work is forgettable work.
Philosophy
We are a small team, and that is deliberate. Fewer projects means more attention, more honesty, and more room for the kind of creative risk that makes cinema worth watching.
Every project we take on gets our full commitment — from development through delivery. No half-measures, no shortcuts.
How We Work
From first idea to final delivery — four stages, one unbroken line of intent.
Concept
Every project begins with a single idea — a question, an image, a feeling. We develop it until the story becomes inevitable.
Pre-Production
Casting, location scouting, shot design. We plan with precision so the set has room for spontaneity.
Production
Small crews, focused days, real locations. We shoot lean and intentional — no wasted setups.
Post & Delivery
Editing, sound, colour, and finishing. The film finds its final shape in post, then goes into the world.
What We Believe
Craft
Every frame, every cut, every sound choice is a decision. We treat filmmaking as a discipline — precise, intentional, and never arbitrary.
Honesty
We tell stories that feel true. Not because they mirror reality, but because they respect the audience enough to be genuine.
Risk
Safe work is forgettable work. We pursue ideas that challenge us — stories that are difficult, unusual, or untested — because that is where cinema lives.
